Home Away from Home
DESCRIPTION
Our Home Away from Home is a 3 Bedroom, 2 bath vacation rental centrally located in Coeur d'Alene Idaho, it is in the process of becoming our proof of concept for how a typical residential home can be made into a hub of creativity and culture. The whole home is available for short-term rental on Airbnb.
The Gardens, Greenhouse, Maker-Space, and Garage Music Studio are being developed by Village Collective. Our goal is that local or guest artists, musicians, gardeners, and makers will use these spaces to pursue their creative endeavors, and share them with the Village Collective community and guests of the house.
LAYOUT
A split-level home - Upstairs is the Kitchen, Dining Room, Master Bed and Bath, and living room area. A sliding glass door in the kitchen opens to the deck, which includes a charcoal grill and outdoor dining and conversation area. Downstairs you can find the laundry room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and den. The back-yard is home to our greenhouse, micro-maker-space, outdoor yoga space, fire-pit area, as well as various vegetable, herb, and fruit gardens. The garage is home to a small music studio. Guests are welcome to explore the greenhouse and gardens and harvest fresh seasonal fruits and veggies.

As we have been very busy this year, the garden is a little lacking. We hope to find some gardening help and improve on this as much as we can in the coming seasons.

Release Float Spa
Float therapy is a deep relaxation treatment that allows you to experience total weightlessness, providing numerous health benefits. ((Release)) is locally owned, as well as being North Idaho's only dedicated float spa. Village Collective guests are welcome to a 15% discount on any standard or single float packages.
Music Lessons
We are currently developing our garage music studio and look forward to sharing the space with local musicians as a practice and and rehearsal space in between bookings. Airbnb guests will also be welcome to use the space after approval from Village Collective. If you are a local musician that is interested in using the space, please complete the short survey below!
BeeKind Coffee
Bee Kind Coffee co. is a Hispanic-owned local small business! Bee Kind's goal is to provide true and wholesome quality - both in their delicious coffee & creations, but especially in the kindness they spread. Three unique coffee blends and a variety of organic bottled flavored cold brews are offered. Their coffee is roasted fresh every week and they provide free delivery on Mondays, Village Collective guests enjoy a discount on Bee Kind products. Simply message us for the code to use at checkout.
Yoga
We are in the process of developing an outdoor area suitable for one-on-one or small group yoga classes. We hope to work with local instructors to offer sessions for Airbnb guests during their stay. If you are a local yoga teacher who is interested in this, please complete the short survey below!
